Students can also get advice from the University while applying on the typical living costs required for studying in Scotland. Entry Requirements

Entry requirements at the University of Dundee vary depending on the course, so it’s important for applicants to check the specific criteria for their chosen programme. International students usually need to submit high school transcripts (or an equivalent) and may also be asked for references and a personal statement or essay.

All courses are taught in English, so students coming from countries where English isn’t the first language must demonstrate proficiency. The University generally requires an IELTS score with an average of 6.5 for most courses, though other accepted tests may be considered in some cases.

If you don’t yet meet the English language requirement, you can still apply—any offer made will be conditional. However, students who don’t meet the language criteria won’t be able to enroll.

Students planning to study in the UK must also meet the requirements for a UK study visa as outlined by UK Visas and Immigration.
